The mission of ASEDAS is to amplify the presence and resilience of digital art within the context of contemporary art in the ASEAN region. It seeks to support regional artists, institutions, studios, and academics, while also actively participating in the global digital art sector.

Objectives

The primary objectives of ASEDAS include:

1. Elevating awareness among ASEAN's digital artists about the equivalence of Digital Art to Contemporary Art.
2. Serving as a representative body for creative artists employing digital media within ASEAN.
3. Propelling interest and advancements in digital arts across the ASEAN region.
4. Facilitating the exchange of insights and conversations related to Digital Art among ASEAN's digital arts community.
5. Encouraging academic training in digital art technology.

4th ASEDAS 2023 - International Digital Art Exhibition:

​

The 2023 edition introduces a fresh perspective with a thematic focus on "Design for Tomorrow," "Gotong Royong," and "Digital Today." These editions encompass a wide array of digital art forms, providing artists with a platform for expression.

 

Important Dates for Edition 3:

- Registration & Submission: August 1 to September 15, 2023.
- Curation Process: September 25 to 30, 2023.
- Announcement of Curated Artwork: October 10, 2023.
- Exhibition Dates: October 15 to December 31, 2023 (Online).

Participation and Support:

Participation is open to members of ASEDAS International, ASEDAS Malaysia, ASEDAS Indonesia, ASEDAS Thailand, as well as artists worldwide. The theme, "DIGITAL TODAY," reflects the contemporary nature of the showcased artworks.
